The museum, located in the house of the Ulyanovs, was opened to the 20th anniversary of the October Revolution and still keeps the atmosphere of the young Vladimir Lenin's era. Personal belongings, books, home furnishing and even cookware are still in perfect condition and look like the Ulyanovs have just left the house for a short stroll in a garden. The house itself is a typical example of the wooden urban estate, with a facade that remains intact until today.
The museum is surrounded by a quite garden, open to everyone to meander around. It is a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city in the shadows of the age-old trees that still remember the Ulyanovs family.
You can buy the entrance tickets and order an excursion in person by visiting the museum. The museum is closed on Mondays.
